The Loser's Guide to Life

    It's been awhile since I've written one of these posts. I suppose I don't have all that much to talk about. I've been working on finishing up school for the last two weeks, and while I still have a few Spanish assignments out, I think I've decided that Friday was my last day of school. These are the perks of online school. This only reminds me that I'll be going back to a real school next year though. I'm sort of really nervous, and I also have all these expectations of who I'm going to be as a junior. I think my role model for the year will be somewhere between April Ludgate and Ramona Flowers. Basically I just want to kick total ass and be awesome.

     Yesterday I went to the park and read a couple of chapters from Please Ignore Vera Dietz. Then it started to rain so we went home but then our power went out. A good part of town lost power actually. I'm laughing because my mom was cooking things on the stove when it went out. It all worked to my advantage though because then we ordered in some Domino's. Everyone started freaking out because my siblings don't know how to function without wifi. The day was actually pretty nice until it started getting dark. I sat on the couch and continued reading but by the light of my cell phone; not the most thrilling process I'll admit. The backlight only stays on for 20 seconds at a time, so I had to keep tapping the screen. The power went back on around 11, and it totally scared the crap out of me because the first thing to power back up was my printer. Amidst the total darkness and complete silence I was not expecting the printer to go off. I then went upstairs, charged my laptop, and watched Warm Bodies.

     Speaking of laptops, I'm going to have to turn mine in soon since it's school property. This basically means that my posts will be a little more spread out, but hopefully we'll all be busy on crazy summer adventures and no one will notice. I think I'll go work on some posts that I can have on backup for this summer. Ciao.
