Well folks, the snow is finally gone here. Yesterday it was incredibly sunny, and though it is very cloudy today, we can still rejoice that the snow has finally disappeared. I feel like summer is just around the corner! Are you excited? I sure am. I plan to drive around with my girl Summer and just soak in the warmth. Not having school will also be quite splendid.
The weather is going to be warm, and we are all going to be more active human beings. I decided to make this chart for you guys, because eating more fruit this summer is a necessity. We're more prone to injuries, illnesses, and eek cancer. I've decided to make a series of posts about preparing for summer, and here I present you with the first installment.
Though I hope you eat fruit all year long, stocking up on these nutrient packed snacks will be very beneficial to you this summer. Below I listed a major benefit each fruit has to offer. I also want to encourage you to eat organic fruit though too. Choosing organic fruit is a lot healthier for your body. Some fruits in particular, such as strawberries, are sprayed with an incredible amount of pesticides.
I hope this encourages you to up your intake of fruits. Be on the look out for more summer preparation posts, and don't forget to tell me your favorite fruit in the comments. Mine is definitely strawberries :)
